Text Currently in version 4.0, the 'Character Preferences' option is no longer available and as a result, a default 'Device Configurator' printer cannot be assigned

 
 
Resolution POSSIBLE RESOLUTION:

In MAS 90 and 200, version 4.00, 'Character Preferences' (Character Prefs) is no longer available and a Device Configurator printer cannot be set as the default printer for reports. MAS 90 and 200 generally default to the Windows default printer with the following exceptions:

1. Most forms default to the las printer used by that form

2. 'Automatic Update' option can now be set to default to a Windows printer from within the task. Previously it defaulted to the default printer defined in 'Character Preferences'.

3. 'Multi-Part' printing can be used to set default pronters for geographical forms.
