Description Usually encountered after activating Bar Code 
Text "The object SO_SalesOrder_UI does not exist" or "Error #12: File does not exist (or already exists)" or "Error #12: File does not exist (or already exists)" occurring when accessing Sales Order Entry after activating the Bar Code module.

This is a Program Issue in MAS 90, MAS 200 ERP in Sales Order Processing, version 4.10. This error is resolved with Sage Program Fix SO04058-T.

 
 
Resolution Follow these steps to duplicate this error: (Assume "ABC" company)

1. Open Library Master/Main/Company Maintenance. Select "ABC" from the Company Lookup and click the Activate button.

2. Select the Bar Code check box and click the Proceed and Accept buttons.

3. Open Sales Order/Setup/Sales Order Options.

4. Click the Forms tab and clear the Print Sales Orders check box. Click the Accept button.

5. Open Sales Order/Main/Sales Order Entry

6. The error should occur.

There is no workaround for this problem, so you must install Sage Program Fix SO4058-T to resolve it completely.
